It’s 1:34 am as I’m writing this. It’s officially today.
Today is the day Gavin gets his first round of immunizations.
My wonderful wife has been doing a bunch of research on the subject and, true to form, found that she doesn’t like the ‘normal’ way of doing things. And this time I totally agree with her.
We’re going in to the doctor in the morning with an alternate schedule for our little guy’s shots. If the Doc is cool with our way, it’s needles for the boy. Either way it kind of sucks for him, but we’re trying to make it suck a little less.
Janey’s going to cry. She had tears in her eyes just talking about shot day.
That’s about it for now.
(BTW – totally posting from my iPhone)
And I’m COMMENTING from MY iPhone AT the doctor’s office. I win.
AND… I didn’t cry. I’d like that to remain on record.
I did not cry, folks! yay!
I can vouch for that. She was solid as a rock.
And how did Gavin do? It’s much harder on the parents than the kids….I think. Well, maybe it’s hard on everybody!
@mom
He took it like a champ! It was at nighttime when he threw me for a loop.
45 minute stretches of sleep ALL night long. Not fun.
