Lost Invitations

I have a sad story to tell. A story of woe. A story of sadness. A story of being really mad at the US Postal Service.

It seems that many of the wedding invitations we sent out a few weeks ago have been lost in the abyss of the US Mail system. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to which invitations arrived, and which were lost. Some arrived in Utah, some arrived in California… and still some destined for both states seem to be lost. It’s all a big maddening mystery.

So Janey and I have been calling around tonight to let people know they are invited. A bummer, but we gotta let people know somehow, or we’ll be forced to eat a wonderful meal at the top of a mountain all alone. (hey… that actually doesn’t sound terrible… *noted for a future wedding anniversary)
