What struck me most about this ring was the thought of it’s history.
It’s an antique piece from the early 1930’s, and its completely original. The stone is an old mine cut with the most wonderful shape. It’s not square, it’s not round, it’s just sort of odd-ball… but beautiful.
I can just imagine a jeweler, a true craftsman, working this piece of art by lamp light. Then the ring had a life of it’s own for almost 80 years before it found us. Just awesome.
And that is what I love about it. It’s unique, classic, and there’s no other one like it in the world!
I like that you two have chosen to have this conversation over the internet, despite the fact you share living quarters. It’s part of the reason I love you both.
